HO Scale Norfolk & Western CPL/PCL Signals
We are proud to share our line of Norfolk & Western CPL/PCL signals in HO scale! These are some of the most authentic functional Color Position Light signals available in HO scale.
The upper signals feature red, amber, and green lamps matching the configuration used on the Norfolk & Western and modern Amtrak lines on the Northeast Corridor.
The lower signals feature a red center lamp surrounded by amber lamps, matching the configuration used on the Norfolk & Western Railroad.
Each model features realistic design elements taken from original technical drawings of the real thing. These lower signals are based on the PL-2 design, and feature a scale 52" diameter face. The individual lights and wires are mounted using a realistic conduit "spider", which routes the individual wires out the back of the model.
Our Dual CPL Signal Mast Kit is the perfect complement to our N&W Color Position Light signals! This kit includes pre-cut and pre-drilled brass masts, as well as ladder assemblies and an elevated platform designed from original Norfolk & Western drawings. When coupled with our signal heads, this yields an incredibly authentic model that works perfectly in any HO scale scene!
As with all of our lighted models, these signals are fully functional right out of the package. These signals come pre-wired, with 38 gauge wire about 24" long. This makes it very easy to route the wires beneath a layout to a controller. Each model comes with a latex mask pre-applied over each lens. This makes it simple to paint the model. After the model has been painted, the mask can be removed, revealing the pristine lens underneath.
