These are some of the most authentic functional Manual Block Limit signals available in HO scale! These double-sided signals feature red and amber lamps matching the configuration used on the Pennsylvania Railroad and on the Long Island Railroad. Each model features realistic design elements taken from original technical drawings of the real thing.

This signal is offered in two variants; mounted to a round mast and mounted on a square post. Both configurations were used on the railroad, so proper historically accurate models can be added to any model railroad.

This signal is offered in two variants; mounted to a round mast and mounted on a square post. Both configurations were used on the railroad, so proper historically accurate models can be added to any model railroad.

This kit comes with all components needed to assemble the model. The kit contents are as follows:

  • Lighted Double-Sided Signal

  • Brass Mast

  • Telephone Box

  • “Landscape” Letter Boards

  • “Portrait” Letter Boards

  • 560 ohm resistors

  • Mast Base (Round Mast Variant Only)

  • Signal Connector (Square Post Variant Only)

These signals come with a latex masking pre-applied over each lens. This mask protects the lens from paint and weathering materials, making it extremely simple to paint and weather the model out of the package! Once painting is complete, simply remove the mask with a pair of fine tweezers, leaving the pristine lenses underneath.

This model comes pre-wired, so there is no need to fight with small LEDs! Each model uses 38 gauge wires to power the LEDs. All LEDs share a common positive anode, while separate cathodes are provided for the red and yellow LEDs. The wires are approximately 24" long, pre-tinned and ready for installation.

This model uses 2 volt LEDs rated at 20 mA. To power the signal between 3 and 12 volts DC, the included 560 ohm resistors must be connected at the cathode connections.
